Volunteers Needed - By the bucket load - Roy Castle Lung Foundation
The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is currently celebrating its 20th Anniversary Year and has been given an opportunity to raise what could potentially be a huge amount of money, by organising a bucket collection in Liverpool City Centre on Saturday 14th August 2010.
In order to make this as successful as possible, we need lots and lots of lovely volunteers to help shake buckets.
We would be ever so grateful if you could give 2 hours of your time to sport one of our gorgeous, yellow Roy Castle t-shirts and be part of a dedicated team of collectors. You will be positioned in either Bold Street, Church Street, Williamson Square, Lord Street or Liverpool One and play a vital role in generating much needed funds for the charity.
Bucket collections are good fun (really they are). You'll be with a group of like-minded people, collecting for a wonderful cause. And if town is busy and the sun is shining, you have the perfect ingredients for a successful day.
If you are interested in getting involved then we'd love to hear from you. Timeslots available are 10am-12pm, 12pm-2pm or 2pm-4pm but if you would like to do less (or more), just let us know.
